Why Reclaiming the Sabbath Matters Today

Hello, and welcome to Reclaiming Sabbath Truth!

****I teach people about, ”Reclaiming Sabbath Truth”, feel free to follow my space here-

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us find ourselves overwhelmed, constantly moving from one task to another. The idea of taking a full day to rest and worship may seem impossible—but that’s exactly what God invites us to do through the Sabbath.

The Sabbath isn’t just a day off or a tradition; it’s a divine commandment and a sacred gift. In Exodus 20:8-11, we’re told, “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy…” This command wasn’t merely for ancient times—it’s for us today, offering rest for our bodies, renewal for our spirits, and alignment with God’s will.

For centuries, Sabbath observance has been overshadowed by shifting traditions. But the Bible makes it clear that the seventh day, Saturday, is the day God set apart. Observing the Sabbath is a way to honor His creation, acknowledge His authority, and deepen our relationship with Him.

Through my book, Reclaiming the Sabbath in a Sunday World, and the Sabbath Stillness Journal, I explore why Saturday Sabbath matters and how you can reclaim it in your life. The book dives into scripture, history, and practical insights, while the journal provides a 21-week guide for reflecting and growing in your faith journey.

Reclaiming the Sabbath isn’t just about following a rule; it’s about rediscovering God’s perfect rhythm for our lives. It’s about stepping away from the distractions of the world to connect with the Creator.

So, I’d like to ask you: What does Sabbath rest mean to you? How do you think it could transform your walk with God? Let’s discuss and learn from one another as we journey together toward reclaiming this sacred gift.

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. I’m excited to hear your perspective!
